Day 5 Taynuilt to Dunoon

The news is that it doesn’t always rain in Scotland! A dry day, the most fantastic scenery, the hills not too steep, what more can a granny on a bicycle want?! Well, just one more thing, a bike that doesn’t keep breaking down due to my previous self-inflicted problem.  Carl,  support man No. 1, did two quick fixes that got me the 68 miles from Taynuilt to Dunoon but more repairs were needed. Fortunately I found a wonderful repair man in Dunoon. So if you happen to be in Dunoon and need your bike repaired, I can recommend someone!

Tomorrow we go to Ayr, which includes a ferry trip – I assume that to satisfy the conditions of the trip, I don’t have to swim across with my bike – or is it a triathlon as well?!
